Social work students of the Vanderbijlpark Campus of the North-West University (NWU) recently did their part in the battle against cancer.

Prof Freddy Samuel Khunou, an associate professor on the Mahikeng Campus of the North-West University (NWU), recently published a book - Mountains of Spirit - on the history and culture of the Bakwena ba Mogopa tribe.

World renowned vocal theatre group, Carmina Slovenica, will be performing in Potchefstroom on 21 of February at 19:30 in the NWU Conservatory. This group, under the direction of Karmina Šilec, is known for its innovative programming. Carmina Slovenica incorporates contemporary music, drama and movement on stage and performs with an artistry that inspires.

The North-West University’s Vanderbijlpark Campus is joining hands with the Social Sciences Research Society in Turkey to host the 8^th International Conference on Social Sciences (ICSS) later this year.

A total of 40 staff members of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) Potchefstroom Campus received recognition for their first publication of a research article.
