The annual NWU Leadership Summit once again proved to be a very successful undertaking. Hosted on Thursday, 10 August 2017, the summit saw six of South Africa’s most brilliant business, private sector and entrepreneurial minds come together to share their expertise and experiences with delegates.

What better way to celebrate Women’s Month than to congratulate a young alumna of the North-West University (NWU) on being appointed as the CEO of Project Isizwe – the innovative Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) behind Africa’s most successful, large-scale free Wi-Fi network.

Students from the North-West University (NWU) recently attended the 8^th University Scholars Leadership Symposium in Bangkok, Thailand. 

The NWU Puk Choir charmed audiences with their exceptional singing talent during the recent 54th International Choir Competition in Spittal, Austria, and as a result received the prize as the audience’s favourite choir.

North-West University (NWU) student, Caster Semenya, walked away with a gold medal for her exceptional performance during the women's 800m final at the IAAF World Championships in London.

Maintaining its scorching track record and number one position in the 2017 Varsity Football tournament, the North-West University (NWU) drew against their third-round opponents, the University of Pretoria (UP Tuks) in Potchefstroom on 10 August 2017.

Another former player of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) Soccer Institute, Boalefa Pule, has been included in the national Bafana Bafana team.
