Radiyah’s brave road to success

Radiyah Saloojee is living proof that an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving not only serves as a road marker on the journey to success, but also a stepping stone to accomplishment. For this 24-year old alumna of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark, each day represents a new opportunity to excel and in doing so, making the world a better place.

Campbell is Coal Man of the Year

This tribute is for the individual who has donated valuable time and effort to the betterment of the industry. Prof Quentin Campbell of the North-West University (NWU) received this accolade when the Southern African Coal Processing Society (SACPS) announced that he is the Coal Man of the Year for 2017.

Freedom not free for Britain as SA awaits Brexit

The sun may not be setting on the British Empire, but the island nation will be shrouded beneath stormy clouds for the foreseeable future. Negotiations for Britain to leave the European Union commenced last week in Brussels and it is evident that two years of turmoil awaits a once proud empire that now face the prospect of being the derided stepchild of Europe.
