David Dyason

David Dyason is a lecturer in Economics in the School of Economics at the North-West University (Potchefstroom Campus). He holds an MCom in Economics from the North-West University, which focused on manufacturing exports and transport costs from South Africa's secondary cities. David is currently busy with his PhD studies, which involve quantifying the economic impact of universities in South Africa.

 

André Heymans

I work primarily in the financial field pertaining to investment decisions and more specifically the management of financial portfolios. This research addresses a variety of issues of which the most important include: the effectiveness of the market, uncertainty in asset prices, the impact of different world markets on each other as well as how these factors influence investors’ asset portfolios.

Waldo Krugell

Waldo Krugell is a Professor in Economics at the North-West University’s Potchefstroom Campus.  He holds a M.Sc in Economics from the University of Warwick and a Ph.D on the topic of the geographical economy of South Africa from North-West University’s Potchefstroom Campus.

Derick Blaauw

Derick Blaauw professor in the School of Economics at the North-West University (Potchefstroom Campus). He previously lectured in the Department of Economics & Econometrics at the Rand Afrikaans University (RAU) and the University of Johannesburg (UJ) as well at the Soweto and Bloemfontein Campusses of Vista University.

Riaan Rossouw

Riaan is a micro-economist with more than ten years consulting, research and teaching experience. He is currently associate professor in the School of Economics at the North-West University’s Potchefstroom Campus. He has wide-ranging knowledge in most economic sectors as well as economic development as a whole.
