It is almost time for the annual Alumni Gala Event of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark and you are invited!

The North-West University (NWU) Council, during its extraordinary meeting on 17 August 2017, took a decision to appoint the two candidates indicated below, in order to fill the positions of Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Teaching and Learning and Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Research and Innovation for a term of five years.

All indications are that the recent national Student Entrepreneurship Week – as coordinated by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) – was a great success. At the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark, students from all disciplines took part in an Entrepreneurship Boot Camp.

The Black Lawyers Association recently treated law students of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijpark to an evening filled with golden rules and tricks of the trade about life in the courtroom.

The North-West University’s (NWU) Science Centre on its campus in Potchefstroom recently hosted a successful National Science Week (NSW).

Under the theme of ‘Advancing Science Tourism’, the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Mahikeng celebrated National Science Week from 7 to 11 August 2017.
