The annual NWU Leadership Summit once again proved to be a very successful undertaking. Hosted on Thursday, 10 August 2017, the summit saw six of South Africa’s most brilliant business, private sector and entrepreneurial minds come together to share their expertise and experiences with delegates.

What better way to celebrate Women’s Month than to congratulate a young alumna of the North-West University (NWU) on being appointed as the CEO of Project Isizwe – the innovative Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) behind Africa’s most successful, large-scale free Wi-Fi network.

Students on the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark were recently treated to a public dialogue on service delivery and the role of the media in promoting good governance. The past weekend saw top-class basketball action at the Sasol NWU Vanderbijlpark Junior Basketball Tournament. The tournament took place at the Harry Gwala Sport Complex in Zamdela.

It is once again time for the annual NWU Junior Basketball Tournament as hosted by the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark. This year will see teams from across South Africa taking to the basketball court from 28 to 30 July 2017.

The ladies basketball team of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark proved their mettle on the court during the recent University Sport South Africa (USSA) Championships which took place in Stellenbosch. The team enjoyed a good run and achieved the third position overall.
