More about the conference
Under the patronage of the Minister of Labour and Social Development, Dr Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafis, the SABIC Forum served as an expression of the Saudi Kingdom’s continued commitment to the Saudi Vision 2030 – an ambitious yet achievable blueprint that expresses the kingdom’s long-term goals and expectations.
The forum furthermore highlighted the realignment of corporate HR and its mission of driving excellence in every area of its functioning. By offering an opportunity to company leaders, government officials, HR experts, and other stakeholders to share global best practices and look at inspiring success stories, the forum prepared the groundwork for establishing an HR think tank for HR leaders to exchange knowledge at regular round tables.
A range of key topics was taken up for discussion. These included Talent Management Best Practices, Leadership Development, Performance Culture, Change Management, Work and Organization Culture, Digital HR, and Change leadership.
Other high-level speakers included Dr Dave Urich – world renowned management expert from The Ross School of Business at Michigan University, Joseph Crenny – world leader in change management and Mark Hatch – an expert on innovation and entrepreneurship.
