The Black Lawyers Association recently treated law students of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijpark to an evening filled with golden rules and tricks of the trade about life in the courtroom.

Starting out on your journey as a university student is an adjustment. Although it is a time filled with excitement, it is a stressful process for everyone – more so for a disabled student. Thanks to the innovative thinking and programming skills of Phumudzo Muvhango, retracing your steps and finding your misplaced keys have just become a lot easier.

South Africa is experiencing an exponential crisis in terms of mathematics and science education. For the third year in a row the country has finished last in the World Economic Forum’s mathematics and science education quality rankings. In effect this means that SA’s performance in mathematics and sciences is lower than that of Nigeria, Mozambique, and Malawi.
