The energetic atmosphere of the fourth annual North-West University (NWU) Intercampus Staff Wellness Tournament was unmistakable as staff members from the university’s three campuses gathered on 30 August 2024.
Hosted by the Potchefstroom Campus, the tournament was a much-anticipated event on the NWU calendar, bringing together colleagues from across the university for a day filled with sport and laughter.

Themed "Student centricity in teaching and learning at the NWU", the conference stressed the importance of reimagining teaching and learning methodologies to better cater to the specific needs of NWU students.

In celebration of Arbor Week, held annually from 1 to 7 September, the North-West University (NWU) community planted 20 trees on each of the NWU campuses.
These tree planting ceremonies were also part of the university's 20-year anniversary celebrations, symbolising the enduring legacy of the NWU over the past two decades.
