A story of hope

For the past four years the Hillensberg Trust has been making the dreams of several North-West University (NWU) students come true.

The trust was established in the late 1970s and the bursary grant was launched in 2017. Since its inception, students at the NWU have received bursaries to the value of R5 million.

NWU has reached capacity – no walk-in students allowed during registration of first-year students

The North-West University (NWU) will not allow persons who did not qualify for admission, did not receive an offer to study or who applied late to enter its campuses as so-called walk-ins during the registration period for first-year students in 2021.

NWU School of Nursing educates communities on Covid-19 and vaccines

The North-West University’s (NWU’s) School of Nursing in collaboration with the South African Police Service (SAPS), the Community Police Forum (CPF), and the South African Ministers Fraternal (SAMIFRA), hosted a campaign from 9 to 11 February to educate the community of Extension 39 in Mahikeng on Covid-19 and vaccines.
