The North-West University’s (NWU’s) Disability Unit on the campus in Mahikeng launched a three-day awareness campaign on 18 October in support of Disability Week.

Matshidiso Mogotsi, a student at the North-West University’s (NWU’s)  campus in Mahikeng, just added another achievement to her name after recently being selected as one of the finalists for the 2017 Miss Commonwealth South Africa pageant. 

On 14 October 2017, the North-West University (NWU) welcomed representatives of the Free State Premier's Office to talk to students who received bursaries from the Free State Province Bursary Scheme.

During the recent October graduation ceremony of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark, a group of 91 graduates crossed the stage to receive their degrees.

Lebogang Monyatsi, an alumna of the North-West University (NWU) made South Africa and the NWU proud when she was crowned first princess during the first ever Miss World Wheelchair pageant that was held on 7 October 2017 in Warsaw, Poland.

“Welcome home, alumni!” With these words Prof Linda du Plessis, deputy vice-chancellor of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark, recently welcomed members of the Young Alumni fraternity back to the campus for the annual NWU Alumni Homecoming event.

Since the formal inception of the NWU Young Alumni Homecoming initiative on the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark, the event has grown in leaps and bounds.
