The Mahikeng chapter of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) Golden Key International Honours Society is gearing up to attend the Golden Key New Jersey City 2018 Leadership Summit.

The fourth day of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) graduation ceremony in Vanderbijlpark saw 198 graduates receive their degree qualifications. Of these qualifications, 18 were doctoral degrees.

The third day of the four-day graduation ceremony of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark did not only represent the culmination of years of study for graduates, but also bore witness to the rich cultural diversity evident at the institution.

Each graduation ceremony bears testament to the fact that the North-West University (NWU) contributes powerfully to the South African professional workforce. This is according to Prof Mashudu Mashinge, executive dean of the Faculty of Humanities.

“The world of work is changing. In fact, studies have shown that 65% of children entering primary school today will be employed in jobs that do not yet exist. Having said this, the North-West University (NWU) prides itself on being a university that cultivates innovation and enterprise.”

The Faculty of Law at the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Mahikeng hosted a luncheon on 8 May 2018 to announce its new partnership with local law firm, Maponya Attorneys Inc.
