Naledi’s gearing up to go!

The North-West University’s (NWU’s) solar car, Naledi, is ready to take on the world. With the whole team assembled in Darwin, Australia and with the static scrutineering tests conducted on Wednesday, the team will now undergo dynamic scrutineering tests on Saturday before the first leg kicks off on Sunday.

‘Best in the world’. It is a moniker bestowed on a select few; a testament to the absolute dedication to one’s art. Whether as a prefix or a suffix, from 16 September to the start of the next Varsity Cricket tournament early in 2018, this is the moniker that will either precede or succeed the name of the North-West University’s (NWU) cricket team.

NWU gird their loins for encounter with tournament log leaders

Following their much-needed recent win against the University of Johannesburg (UJ) (putting them in third position on the 2017 Varsity Football tournament log), the North-West University’s (NWU’s) varsity football team is preparing to take on the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) on 7 September 2017 in their quest to seal their place in the semi-final.
