World Rugby has announced that South Africa is their preferred choice to host the IRB 2023 Rugby World Cup. South Africa beat France as well as Ireland, and although an official vote will take place on 15 November, the independent World Rugby’s recommendation – a body comprised of rugby experts, business and commercial analysts – should hold true.

A crowd of little tykes sporting cricket bats, pads and wickets recently descended on the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark to showcase their mini-cricket skills.

The North-West University’s (NWU’s) solar car, Naledi, is ready to take on the world. With the whole team assembled in Darwin, Australia and with the static scrutineering tests conducted on Wednesday, the team will now undergo dynamic scrutineering tests on Saturday before the first leg kicks off on Sunday.
