Rugby World Cup 2023: Don’t wait SA, start preparing now

World Rugby has announced that South Africa is their preferred choice to host the IRB 2023 Rugby World Cup. South Africa beat France as well as Ireland, and although an official vote will take place on 15 November, the independent World Rugby’s recommendation – a body comprised of rugby experts, business and commercial analysts – should hold true.

Naledi’s gearing up to go!

The North-West University’s (NWU’s) solar car, Naledi, is ready to take on the world. With the whole team assembled in Darwin, Australia and with the static scrutineering tests conducted on Wednesday, the team will now undergo dynamic scrutineering tests on Saturday before the first leg kicks off on Sunday.

NWU crowned world champions

‘Best in the world’. It is a moniker bestowed on a select few; a testament to the absolute dedication to one’s art. Whether as a prefix or a suffix, from 16 September to the start of the next Varsity Cricket tournament early in 2018, this is the moniker that will either precede or succeed the name of the North-West University’s (NWU) cricket team.
