Another Premier Soccer League team, Chippa United FC, has signed a former player of the North-West University (NWU) Soccer Institute.

Thapelo Tlabakwe, a 24-year old striker who hails from Rustenburg, was playing for Jomo Cosmos FC in the National First Division.Thapelo has signed for the Port Elizabeth-based Chippa United for a three-year term, starting in the coming football season.

Thapelo is a BCom graduate from the NWU and has represented the Soccer Institute during Varsity Football, University Sports South Africa and the ABC Motsepe League.
