According to the Department of Higher Education and Training, chartered accountants are among the top 100 scarcest individuals in the country. The North-West University (NWU) is addressing this shortage by being placed among the top universities in the country.
In accord with the North-West University’s (NWU) commitment to pursue, accommodate and provide a fair and an inclusive language environment, the university recently celebrated annual International Mother Tongue Day across its three campuses.

The month of March marks Social Work Month and on 20 March we celebrate International Social Work Day. In response to this year’s theme – “Strengthening the importance of human relationships”, the subject group Social Work at the North-West University (NWU) initiated its own campaign - “NWU Social Work – Strength through Support”.
