What started out as a short learning programme with only seven participants in 2013, has grown into one of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) flagship empowerment initiatives, benefitting female entrepreneurs across central South Africa.

The School of Accounting on the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Mahikeng, in collaboration with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), hosted an award ceremony on 19 September 2017 to honour 2016’s third-year financial accounting top achievers.

Prof Susanne Schwabb, an international expert in inclusive education, will be presenting a workshop on the methodological problems that can be experienced when conducting research in this field.
