On 11 June 2018 the executive mayor of the Emfuleni Local Municipality will deliver his State of the Municipality Address (SOMA) in Vanderbijlpark. Emfuleni is one of South Africa’s defaulting councils, with the municipality not having had a clean audit in about five years.

Former North-West University (NWU) Soccer Institute player, Orebotse “Bobo” Mongae, is making a move to the South African Premier Soccer League’s (PSL) Baroka FC in the coming season.

A delegation of researchers from the North-West University’s (NWU’s) Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences recently visited several international universities in Poland and Germany.
