The Vanderbijlpark Campus of the North-West University (NWU) recently hosted a prestigious Golden Key International Honour Society New Member Recognition Ceremony at Tsebonokeng Hall, welcoming a new group of high-achieving students into the global network of scholars.
The event honoured the top 15% of students at the NWU who have excelled academically and demonstrated leadership potential. Golden Key, the world’s largest international collegiate honour society, provides members with access to scholarships, international opportunities and community service initiatives.
North-West University (NWU) student and artist Alvin Baguma, popularly known as “4LViN”, released his latest single, ‘Tie u Down’ on Friday 26 September. The song is as a letter to his fans, encouraging them to pursue their love interests.
4LViN rose to prominence in 2022 with his debut single ‘Looney Toonz’, which has over 40 thousand plays on Spotify to date.
The North-West University’s (NWU’s) Vanderbijlpark Campus was abuzz with excitement as it recently hosted the 12th annual NWU Mini-Cricket Festival at the NWU Cricket Clubhouse. With over 560 enthusiastic children aged six to nine from more than 17 schools participating, the event once again proved to be one of the most anticipated youth sports occasions in the region.
The Vanderbijlpark Campus of the North-West University (NWU) staged a colourful and symbolic “Campus Wedding” on Friday, 26 September, bringing together staff, students and alumni in a celebration of cultural diversity and unity.
