The conference provides an opportunity for, especially Higher Education and Training (HET) research initiatives, done in multidisciplinary ways.
Researchers and experts in the fields of eco-health and human wellness will meet at the Lords Signature Hotel in Meyerton, Gauteng to discuss and debate a series of topics.
The keynote speaker is Prof Henk Bouwman from the NWU’s Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, and the topic will be: “Plastics, community, environment, and the economy of South Africa.”
During the course of the two-day conference a total of 20 academic papers will be delivered by experts from various institutions of higher learning and national governance structures. These include, among others: the NWU, the University of Limpopo, Tshwane University of Technology, UNISA and Rhino Connect.
