Think about it: apart from missing home, making new friends, finding your place in the residence and memorising your class timetable – to mention but a few challenges, disabled students will experience the same worries and more.

Geexpo 2017: Unlocking the future through maths and science

South Africa is experiencing an exponential crisis in terms of mathematics and science education. For the third year in a row the country has finished last in the World Economic Forum’s mathematics and science education quality rankings. In effect this means that SA’s performance in mathematics and sciences is lower than that of Nigeria, Mozambique, and Malawi.
