Women in the arts are currently the focus of artworks in the North-West University’s (NWU’s) art gallery at the Potchefstroom Campus.

Ms Hlompo Panelope Maruping, a lecturer from the Mahikeng Campus of the North-West University (NWU) has been invited by the academic selection committee of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) to be one of the speakers at the Annual International Conference on Business, Law and Economics.

Dr Leepile Alfred Sehularo, psychiatry and mental health nursing lecturer in the Nursing Department on the Mahikeng Campus of the North-West University (NWU) has been appointed to the North West Provincial Mental Health Review Board by the MEC for Health, Dr Magome Masike.

On Saturday, 4 March 2017, the Vanderbijlpark Campus of the North-West University (NWU Vaal) hosted the South African National Robofest 2017 Championship in collaboration with Trophy Robotics.

On Saturday, 4 March 2017, the Vanderbijlpark Campus of the North-West University (NWU) will play host to the South African National Robofest 2017 Championship. This year’s rendition of the championship serves as a qualifier for the international competition to take place in June in Florida, USA.
