If you thought that ‘entrepreneurship’ is just another buzzword of the times we live in, think again! This buzzword implies action and for the members of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) Vanderbijlpark branch of ENACTUS South Africa, entrepreneurship is a way of living.

Prof Freddy Samuel Khunou, an associate professor on the Mahikeng Campus of the North-West University (NWU), recently published a book - Mountains of Spirit - on the history and culture of the Bakwena ba Mogopa tribe.

If the excitement of the South African rendition of Robofest 2017 was anything to go by, then the stage is set for a stellar international championship in June. On Saturday, 4 March 2017, the Vanderbijlpark Campus of the North-West University (NWU Vaal) hosted the South African National Robofest 2017 Championship in collaboration with Trophy Robotics.

On Saturday, 4 March 2017, the Vanderbijlpark Campus of the North-West University (NWU) will play host to the South African National Robofest 2017 Championship. This year’s rendition of the championship serves as a qualifier for the international competition to take place in June in Florida, USA.

Dr Miranda Mgijima, director for internationalisation on the Mahikeng Campus of the North-West University (NWU) recently played host to Mr Richard Ndaba from the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) seeking to foster good working relations with the campus.
