The student community of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark recently took to the voting stations and by doing so elected a new Student Campus Council (SCC) for 2017/2018.

Look no further; the North-West University (NWU) invites all students and members of the public to attend the Recycled Material Workshop that will be held on its campus in Potchefstroom on 14 and 15 September 2017.

“When you enter this courtroom, you are on my turf.” These are the words of Mr Johan van den Berg, addressing the second-year social work students at their annual mock trials where students got a taste of the harsh reality faced by social workers when having to testify in court. 

The North-West University’s (NWU’s) varsity football team took the fight to the log leaders, the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), in their televised semi-final encounter on 7 September 2017 at the TUT Stadium.

The North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Mahikeng inaugurated its brand new Student Campus Council (SCC) at the Great Hall on 8 September 2017.

This is according to Prof Linda du Plessis, deputy vice-chancellor of the NWU’s campus in Vanderbijlpark, who recently had the honour of officiating the opening of the regional CANSA Relay for Life event.

North-West University (NWU) alumnus Jared Naude is currently one of 14 people in the country to have obtained the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect Professional Certification.

The North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark and the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) recently celebrated a historic milestone by taking hands to host the fifth annual Vanderbijlpark region CANSA Relay for Life event.
