It was a prestigious occasion when the North-West University (NWU) paid tribute to its outgoing chancellor, His Majesty Kgosi Leruo Molotlegi on Wednesday, 25 September 2019.
Prof Fritz Eloff, a renowned lecturer at the North-West University (NWU), was recently awarded the title of Fellow by the South African Institute for Occupational Hygiene (SAIOH).

For the first time the North-West University (NWU) participated in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University rankings and made it to position 5 in South Africa. Globally we are ranked between 501 to 600 out of the 1396 universities which were evaluated for the 2020 rankings.
On Monday 9 September the North-West University (NWU) united to say no to gender-based violence.
The North-West University’s (NWU’s) Gender Awareness (GAW) week recently concluded, and just as with similar projects such as Facing Race Week, it had a profound impact on all those that attended the various events.
