Alumni Office to celebrate teachers

“If you have to put someone on a pedestal, put teachers. They are society’s heroes.” These words by American author, Guy Kawasaki, rings true and when one considers the multi-faceted role of teachers it becomes clear that a teacher is not just an educator. A teacher impacts the lives of each learner entrusted to him/her on a unique and profound manner.

Radiyah’s brave road to success

Radiyah Saloojee is living proof that an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving not only serves as a road marker on the journey to success, but also a stepping stone to accomplishment. For this 24-year old alumna of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark, each day represents a new opportunity to excel and in doing so, making the world a better place.

Florist Yolanda eventually blossoms in education
