Twins always attracts special attention, and it is no different when it comes to Franick and Winé Steyn. Fifteen years after starting Grade 1 together, the sisters recently celebrated their graduation achievements by proudly taking to the stage during the North-West University’s (NWU’s) autumn graduation ceremony in Vanderbijlpark.

A very proud Dr Schalk van Schalkwyk senior looked on as both of his sons followed in his footsteps. Hugo and Schalk junior both obtained their PhD degrees at the recent autumn graduation ceremony on the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark.

Two members of the North-West University’s (NWU) alumni fraternity, Arnu van Wyk and Dedre Uys, have received nationwide acclaim after being ranked among the South African Top 15 students for the November 2018 CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) exams.
