Mariska Aucamp

Mariska Aucamp is a lecturer in Economics and International Trade in the School of Economic Sciences at the North-West University (NWU) Potchefstroom Campus, where she lectures at undergraduate level and supervises postgraduate students.

She holds a PhD in International Trade and specialises in export promotion, international market selection and export survival. Her doctoral research focused on the role of trade potential in the survival of South African export relationships, providing insights into the factors that support sustainable export growth.

Lorainne Ferreira

Lorainne earned her PhD in Economics in 2020 and has since established a strong research profile, publishing in accredited national and international journals. Her primary research interests focus on strategies and practices that facilitate export promotion and management. Her research also explores regional trade integration, trade policy, and sustainable economic development, with the aim of advancing inclusive growth and strengthening regional and global trade networks.
