Six years after the establishment of the very first alumni advisory committee at the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark, the committee is still making its impact felt.

The North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark recently rolled out the red carpet in celebration of the outstanding performance of its CTA accounting students. These students – who are all busy with the Certificate in Theory of Accounting curriculum (an honours programme) – are preparing for admission to the 2019 SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) qualifying exam in January.

Franco Bosman is a young man on a mission. At the recent Student Excellence Awards of the Faculty Economic and Management Sciences on the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark, Franco was announced as the top CA student in the 2017 third-year group, with an average of 94%.
