NWU honours its best of the best

The North-West University (NWU) honoured the cream of the crop of its alumni at an awards ceremony on 6 October in Sandton. This year’s awards ceremony included the prestigious NWU Lifetime Achievement Award, and also recognised an NWU alumna who has excelled in the international arena in 2017.

Naledi’s gearing up to go!

The North-West University’s (NWU’s) solar car, Naledi, is ready to take on the world. With the whole team assembled in Darwin, Australia and with the static scrutineering tests conducted on Wednesday, the team will now undergo dynamic scrutineering tests on Saturday before the first leg kicks off on Sunday.

A university education can change not only your life, but also help to create a better future for your family and your community.  With this in mind,  three Grade 11 learners – with a knack for mathematics, science and computer programming – stand a chance to win study bursaries in access of R100 000 during the North-West University’s (NWU’s) annual Geexpo.

NWU crowned world champions

‘Best in the world’. It is a moniker bestowed on a select few; a testament to the absolute dedication to one’s art. Whether as a prefix or a suffix, from 16 September to the start of the next Varsity Cricket tournament early in 2018, this is the moniker that will either precede or succeed the name of the North-West University’s (NWU) cricket team.
