With the 2018 rendition of the Student Entrepreneurship Week (SEW2018) just a week away, the stage is set for a full programme on the North-West University’s (NWU) campus in Vanderbijlpark.
Given the economic climate of South Africa, entrepreneurs should be thought of as national assets to be developed, motivated and compensated to the greatest possible extent. Why, you ask? After a very successful national Student Entrepreneurship Week (SEW) during 2017, the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) will once again team-up with institutions of higher learning to host the 2018 rendition of SEW from 20 to 23 August.
In accordance with the terms of an international Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the North-West University (NWU) and the Linnaeus University (LNU) in Sweden, several staff members, and students from both institutions of higher learning, will take part in a student/lecturer and research exchange collaboration programme.
The Robotics team at the North-West University’s (NWU’s) campus in Vanderbijlpark aims to encourage technology-orientated individuals to become involved in the exciting world of automation and innovation in a fun and highly educating way.
