Dr. Jansen van Vuren is a Senior Lecturer in Physiology and a researcher specializing in Cardiovascular Physiology and Biological Psychiatry. Her research explores the interplay between cardiovascular diseases and psychiatric disorders as comorbid conditions in African populations, exploring the underlying biopsychosocial mechanisms.
