Arthur Moraka Shopola

Arthur Shopola is a lecturer in the Department of Public Administration and Local Government at the North West University. He holds a Doctorate degree in Public Affairs.  Shopola’s niche is Local Government, specifically planning and municipal finance, intergovernmental relations, and developmental local government. He is an established researcher, with more than 20 scientific published papers in accredited journals. He has previously done commissioned research studies for Human Sciences Research Council, PSETA and Limpopo provincial government. His PhD study focused on ‘Consultocracy in South Africa local government’ from which he also published 2 papers in DHET accredited journals.
