With 17 November being World Prematurity Day, Prof Welma Lubbe from the North-West University (NWU) is inviting all healthcare professionals to participate in a unique webinar series.
From 2 November to 7 December, Prof Lubbe, a neonatal nurse and midwife specialist, and Annelie van der Westhuyzen, a speech-language therapist and audiologist, will host a weekly webinar on “Theory of Neurodevelopmental supportive care of the preterm infant”.
These webinars are aimed at healthcare professionals working with or interested in working in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Prof Lubbe will also be a guest speaker on related topics during this month on other platforms.
These weekly online sessions will be available at R250 per individual session, or only R1 250 to attend the whole series of six sessions.
