The deadline for applications for the 2018 rendition of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) Enterprising Women Programme is fast approaching.

The new year brings with it yet another exciting and potentially life changing opportunity for female entrepreneurs in central South Africa by means of the North-West University’s (NWU’s) Enterprising Women Programme (EWP).

As the youngest-ever CEO of Project Isizwe  – the innovative Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) behind Africa’s most successful free Wi-Fi network – Dudu Mkhwanazi (26) has her sights set on bridging the digital divide in South Africa.
More so, she is advising all South Africans to step-up and do their bit to increase internet access to low-income communities.

It is all systems go for newly appointed academic staff at the North-West University (NWU). The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is readying a brand new induction programme on all three campuses of the NWU. Staff members in Potchefstroom started with the programme on 22 January 2018, those in Vanderbijlpark on 23 January, and staff members in Mahikeng kicked-off on 24 January 2018.

Dressed in their new uniforms, countless little learners excitedly reported for their first day of school this week. Dr Stef Esterhuizen from the North-West University (NWU) recently shared advice in the national media for those most traumatised by this big change: mom and dad!
