Smile – you’re on camera: Cachet Park CID is right on track

The Cachet Park City Improvement District Non-Profit Company (CID NPC) is putting their money where their mouth is.

The CID recently awarded the tender for the security services in the demarcated area of the larger Bult Area to Mooirivier Beskerming.

This is but one of the top-up services that will be provided for the area.  Other services will include lighting, road service maintenance, landscaping and refuse removal (including recycling).

Mooirivier Beskerming’s CEO, Johann Haefele, and operations manager Christiaan Haefele,  have already started installing the first of 113 CCTV cameras, and setting up the 24/7 monitoring and backup system.

The first phase of the camera installation (Cachet Park itself, as well as the four blocks surrounded by Esselen, Steve Biko, Meyer and Molen Streets) should be operational early in April, and the rest in two further phases over the two months thereafter.

On the right track: here are Johann Haefele (CEO: Moorivier Beskerming), Brig (rtd) Kiewiet van Zyl (COO: Cachet Park CID), Nadri Zitzke (Accountant: Cachet Park CID), Christiaan Haefele (Operations Manager: Moorivier Beskerming), Simoné Vos (Liaison Officer: Cachet Park CID), and Prof Fika Janse van Rensburg (CEO: Cachet Park CID).
