The Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at the North-West University (NWU) is hosting a delegation of Polish experts from 19 to 22 November 2019.
This visit not only speaks to the university’s internationalisation drive but also its vision to be a research home for both national and international experts.
The delegation is made up of Prof Beata Ślusarczyk and Prof Sebastian Kot, both from the Czestochowa University of Technology, Prof Andrzej Sztando from Wroclaw University of Economics, and Prof WŁodzimierz Sroka from the WSB University.
During their stay in South Africa, they will host a series of special lectures:
Potchefstroom:
- Tuesday, 19 November at 10:45 in Building E3, Room 138
Prof Beata Ślusarczyk will deliver a lecture titled: “Industry 4.0 influence on enterprise performance”.
- Tuesday, 19 November at 12:15 in Building E5, Room G04
The Polish delegation will present a special lecture “Lessons from Poland”.
- Wednesday, 20 November at 11:00 in Building E3, Room 138
Prof Andrzej Sztando will deliver a lecture with the topic: “Decentralisation of power vs. GDP growth: How it works for Polish’s golden age”.
Mahikeng:
- Thursday, 21 November at 09:00 in Building A1, Room 261
Prof Sebastian Kot will deliver a lecture titled: “Sustainable supply chain management in small and medium companies”.
Vanderbijlpark:
- Friday, 22 November at 11:00 in the open incubator, second floor in Building 3Prof WŁodzimierz Sroka will deliver a lecture titled: “Inter-organisational cooperation: Is this a recipe for success for the company?”
