Certificate of Excellence
According to Nelia Engelbrecht, the NWU’s editor-in-chief, the feedback that these platforms provide enables the editorial team to identify their shortcomings, but also to give flight to their potential. “Although it was quite overwhelming initially to see the exceptional work other organisations are doing, participation in these competitions soon broadened our horizons and the high-quality work of the winners in the different categories became shining beacons on our own road to excellence,” says Nelia. She adds that the NWU has come to be a force to be reckoned with in both these competitions.
