Another year, another award for the North-West University!  The university  has scooped this specific Professional Management Review (PMR) Diamond Arrow award for the 10th consecutive year.

The award recognises excellence in higher education within the Sedibeng district, which includes the municipalities of Emfuleni, Lesedi and Midvaal.

PMR.africa conducts research telephonically and then it is up to the respondents to nominate and rate the candidates in the different categories on particular criteria.

The awards are made in four categories – the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond Arrows, with the Diamond Arrow award representing the highest rating.

 Handing over the award at a breakfast event held at the Vanderbijlpark Campus Student Centre, PMR.africa’s chief executive officer Johan Hattingh praised the university for its excellence. “This award is a testament to the university’s continued commitment to excellence.”

Prof Linda du Plessis, deputy vice-chancellor for planning and Vanderbijlpark Campus operations, said the university was honoured to once again be recognised.

 “This award represents the values of our campus, and the hard work and commitment of our staff and students.   It is a wonderful recognition of the work of many, many members of the university community over the past years. I couldn’t be prouder,” she added.
