NWU law student publishes debut novel

Another student from the North-West University’s (NWU’s) Mahikeng Campus has self-published a book. Gaopalelwe Lesley Mathiba, a third-year law student, published his debut novel titled “The Essence Behind Motherhood: 'Behold your mother' ~John 19:27”.

In this book Gaopalelwe attempts to give a thorough justification of the biblical and pliable motherhood role, with raising children being one of the most important tasks. This book portrays the behavioural techniques used by mothers and paints a picture which resembles the character of a real mother in both a biblical and general sense.

“If you would like to be a published author, follow your heart’s desire and set your own trends. It is possible.” This is Gaopalelwe’s advice to aspiring authors.

Gaopalelwe published his book on CreateSpace, an independent self-publishing and free distribution platform.

Gaopalelwe is an active member of the Students for Law and Social Justice and the member of Golden Key International Society.

He is also a co-author of a recently published journal article titled “Some Lessons from the Constitutional Court Rulings in two important Cases” with Prof Freddy Khunou.
