NWU Business School and the North West House of Traditional Leaders conclude important Memorandum of Understanding

On Tuesday, 16 November 2021, delegates from the NWU Business School and the North West House of Traditional Leaders concluded an important Memorandum of Understanding during a function held in Potchefstroom.
This is intended to pave the way for co-operation that will enable the University to provide support to the House of Traditional Leaders in bridging the capacity challenges associated with skills development.
Preliminary discussions also identified failed community development projects, in which investments in infrastructure have already been made.
As a key point of collaboration, the Business School can make practical and impactful contributions towards the cultivation of entrepreneurship within these rural communities.
“The NWU Business School regards the signing of the MOU as a significant move towards the implementation of its strategy of a purposeful focus in Africa, and its vision of shaping executive minds in Africa,” Prof Jan van Romburgh, Chief Director of the NWU Business School, said.
