Naledi Ringrollers and Business School empower young entrepreneurs

A groundbreaking collaboration between the North-West University (NWU) Business School and Naledi Ringrollers (Pty) Ltd is now in its third year. This initiative aims to fund young, upcoming entrepreneurs who can help address socio-economic issues such as unemployment, inequality and poverty by imparting entrepreneurial skills and education.

Naledi Ringrollers is a manufacturer of seamless forged and rolled products for mainly the railing industry. They provide prospective entrepreneurs – who meet certain criteria – with bursaries to attend the NWU Business School’s six-month short learning programme in entrepreneurial skills.

The programme’s comprehensive curriculum is designed to equip participants with practical skills and insights for business success. It consists of various modules teaching future entrepreneurs how to navigate the legal, administrative, human resource and financial aspects of their businesses.

Watch the stories of these six participants and the programme's profound impact on their lives and businesses. They come from a variety of backgrounds and industries, but all share a common thread of determination and ambition. As we delve into their stories, witness not only their personal development, but also the ripple effects of their success in their communities and beyond.
