They say it’s almost an impossible task to come between fathers and their daughters, because of the special bond they share That is definitely the case when it comes to Glenville Fransman and his daughter Miché Fransman.
Glenville and his daughter are currently both first years at the North West University’s Potchefstroom Campus.
Glenville is currently studying towards a BA degree in public governance and his daughter a BA degree in tourism and culture management.
“I realised that I am not getting any younger and that time waits for no man, so I decided to get it done,” says Glenville.
He also adds that he decided on this specific course because he is actively involved in community work and is also a representative councilor at the local municipality.
Miché is very excited for the journey ahead and is eager to learn and experience the joys of campus life, as well as meeting new students and making friends. She wants to become a business lecturer and also wants to venture into psychology to help homeless children.
Wishing his daughter well for her future at the NWU,Glenville said, “The world is waiting for her to make a meaningful contribution to the development of our country.”
He also adds that even though this is a new and overwhelming experience for her, she has the support of her whole family as well as her lecturers who are always willing to assist.
