Dr Thapelo ChaaCha, deputy director of the School of Industrial Psychology and Human Resource Management at the Vanderbijlpark Campus of the North-West University (NWU), will be among the distinguished speakers at the HR Leadership & Strategy Summit 2025, taking place in person from 20 to 21 August 2025 at the NH Johannesburg, Sandton.
The summit, themed “Insights for HR leaders to accelerate workplace success”, will bring together some of the most influential voices in human resources, leadership and organisational development. Over the course of two days, delegates will explore cutting-edge research, international trends and real-world solutions aimed at reshaping how HR drives both people performance and organisational purpose.
The programme promises a dynamic mix of keynote addresses, panel discussions, interactive workshops and networking opportunities – making it a vital meeting point for senior HR leaders, HR business partners, learning and development professionals, organisational development specialists and talent experts.
Dr ChaaCha, respected both in academic circles and the HR industry for his ability to bridge theory and practice, is expected to share a compelling perspective on how HR leaders can navigate disruption while remaining people centred.
“The future of HR lies in its ability to balance people performance with a deeper sense of organisational purpose,” he says. “My focus at the summit will be to challenge leaders to think beyond policy and process – to lead in ways that truly transform workplaces.”
With its focus on future-fit strategies, the evolving role of HR and the integration of purpose with performance, the HR Leadership & Strategy Summit 2025 aims to equip professionals with the tools and insights they need to become strategic drivers of business performance.
Dr ChaaCha’s contribution is anticipated to be one of the highlights, offering delegates an opportunity to engage with ideas that are both visionary and actionable.
