The extremely slow pace of economic recovery since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic is clearly evident. However, even as the world is facing dramatic changes due to the pandemic, economic activities have not stopped.  

The North-West University’s (NWU’s) research focus area TRADE and the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences will host a not-to-be-missed webinar featuring nationally renowned economics expert, Dawie Roodt.

Dawie, a director and chief economist of Efficient Group, specialises in monetary and fiscal policy and is involved with the management of client asset portfolios. He is ranked as one of the most referenced economists in the country and received the prestigious Economist of the Year award by Sake24, a media house, in 2020.
