Prof Chaudry Masood Khalique an applied mathematician from the North-West University (NWU), was recently awarded an honorary professorship by the Academic Council of Azerbaijan University (AU) for his outstanding contribution in establishing and developing the scientific and educational relations between the AU and the NWU.

This honour was recently bestowed upon Prof Khalique during the 8th International Eurasian Conference on Mathematical Sciences and Applications that took place in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Prof Khalique also presented a paper titled "Explicit solutions and conservation laws of a generalized extended (3+1)-dimensional Jimbo-Miwa equation".

 Prof Masood Khalique was awarded an honorary professorship by Azerbaijan University.
