
The North-West University (NWU) congratulates its alumnus, Advocate Andy Mothibi, on his appointment as the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP). Advocate Mothibi, a recipient of the NWU Allumni Excellence Award for public service in 2021, has demonstrated his dedication and commitment to our country’s public service. Under his leadership, the Special Investigative Unit (SIU) has become a crucial institution in dealing with corruption in our country and ensure that the resources benefit South Africans.
He graduated from the NWU with a BProc degree in 1987.
We strongly believe that advocate Mothibi will continue to demonstrate integrity, strong leadership, and unwavering commitment towards serving our country and her people. We urge all stakeholders to support Advocate Mothibi and the National Public Authority of South Africa.
We are proud that our alumni continue to shine in various sectors of society around the world, and look forward to facilitating access and success for more qualifying and hardworking young people in our country.
