Dr Ankit Katrodia, a senior lecturer in the North-West University’s (NWU’s) Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, has been selected for the 2023 International Visiting Scholar Programme at the Shanghai Open University (SOU).
The programme is designed to facilitate collaborative research in the domains of economic and social problems, as well as emerging issues affecting both China and South Africa.
Moreover, this scholarship presents a unique opportunity for Dr Katrodia to immerse himself in the Chinese higher education system, fostering interaction with students and academic staff.
The selection process for this sought-after scholarship was highly competitive. Among over 200 applicants, Dr Katrodia was one of the 15 candidates chosen, thanks to his outstanding educational background, extensive experience, and compelling research interests.
The scholarship's duration spans from 16 to 27 October 2023.
