Physical trainer joins PSL team

Dino Rangaka, a physical trainer at the North-West University’s (NWU’s) Soccer Institute, recently joined Premier Soccer League (PSL) Moroka Swallows FC as a physical trainer for the team.

Dino has been with the Soccer Institute on the Mahikeng Campus for eight years. He holds an introduction to coaching certificate from the Netherlands, a speciality in periodisation certificate from the World Football Coaching Academy, and a diploma in nutrition. He recently completed an advanced sports conditioning course at Trifocus Fitness Academy. In 2022 another PSL outfit, Stellenbosch FC, also gave him the opportunity to hone his skills in physical training.

“My time at the institute has provided me with valuable insights into athlete development, and I'm excited to bring that knowledge to this esteemed premier soccer league team,” says Dino.

“Together, we aim to elevate the players' fitness, agility, and overall performance. It's an incredible opportunity, and I'm looking forward to contributing to Swallows' success in the upcoming season. Let's work hard and achieve greatness,” he adds
