Mariska Aucamp is a lecturer in Economics and International Trade in the School of Economic Sciences at the North-West University (NWU) Potchefstroom Campus, where she lectures at undergraduate level and supervises postgraduate students.
She holds a PhD in International Trade and specialises in export promotion, international market selection and export survival. Her doctoral research focused on the role of trade potential in the survival of South African export relationships, providing insights into the factors that support sustainable export growth.
Mariska has published research in peer-reviewed academic journals and has presented her work at academic conferences. Her research supports a deeper understanding of international trade dynamics and informs discussions on export performance and evidence-based trade policy, particularly within the South African context.
